Absence

Alright, I'm impressed. I've been completely negligent of my blog for close to a month, yet I've steadily gained 1,000 more views as the days pressed on. Like I've always said, you readers are awesome, and I appreciate the support, follows, and views. Thank you!!!

This past month has been insane for me, so my apologies for the absence. I know I owe a February playlist, but while I'm preparing that, I'm just going to throw some recent discoveries at you all. But first... It's Spring Freakin' Break! We've made it about halfway through... Let's just get it over with now.

This was released about a month ago, and although I previewed it, I made myself not listen to it until Spring Break actually rolled around. Kap Slap has created some of my favorite mashups, and they put together a solid hour of music made special for this time of year. It includes some music from Foster The People, Jesse J, Afrojack, Avicii, Taio Cruz, David Guetta, Rihanna, and Gotye.

Download this ASAP!

While we're still on mashups, here's a DJ duo from NYC, these ladies call themselves The Jane Doze. Check out their tracks from their album Girls Talk, and download what you like.

So, I know this has been out since November, but it now has significance to me and I'm able to get into it.
I've tried looking for remixes to this as of late, but nothing has really jumped out at me yet, so I'll keep looking.

Here's one that everyone's been obsessed with lately, including myself. If you haven't listened to Gotye's album yet, do it now. Seriously, it's amazing. I swear, by the end of this year they'll have some sort of award(s) to show for it.
This remix is fantastic, not too long, and has a great beat behind it.

That pretty much sums things up for right now, but keep checking back, I'll have some playlists and more music posted by the end of this week. Also, check out my Spring Break Playlist from last year, it got a lot of views at the time and is still a great set to play during any events this week. Happy Spring Break!

October Bomb

October has officially ended. I know it's been way too long since I've posted anything, but I'm going to pull out my usual excuse and say that I've just been busy. October has been a pretty big month for me, and I've made a few big decisions, like moving back home next semester because I miss my family and I need to save money for moving out of state next year. I'm basically going to become an ĂĽber nerd and do nothing but go to class and do homework so I can get good grades. I don't even care about anything else at this point, I've had enough of it and I'm ready to focus on school.
Enough about me, though. How about we talk about music, yeah? It's been a pretty exciting month for many bands,  like Feist, Bjork, Ryan Adams, Radiohead, Kelly Clarkson, and of course, Coldplay. I don't really have enough room to talk about all of these albums, but I have room enough to say that all of them need to be listened to, except for Kelly Clarkson's. It's all pretty much the same as what she's been singing since she won American Idol 27 years ago, or whenever that was. I'm over her.
Now let's get down to it. Here's my October playlist. Thanks to all my readers lately, I've had a big boom in views lately. It's greatly appreciated :)
