Today on Twitter I found a link to a sweet summer playlist from Vogue.com. It includes a ton of artists I've never heard of before. It's safe to say I love every single song on the playlist. For the article and playlist, click here, and for Vogue's SoundCloud, click here.
Also, I see I have readers from South Africa this month. I'd like to say thank you to EVERYONE who reads my blog, I really appreciate it! If anyone ever has any suggestions or comments, feel free to let me know!
It's currently 6:45 am here in Denver, Colorado, and I've already been here 45 minutes. My flight from here to Phoenix doesn't leave until 1 pm, so.... I'm blogging because I have nothing to do. I'm headed to Phoenix to visit a producer and ballroom dance expert, Brent Mills. He's going to teach me the ropes of the studio and allow me to accompany him to a national ballroom dance competition this weekend. Basically, the purpose of the trip is to start an internship with him over the summer. Needless to say, I'm VERY excited. However, six hour flights make me sore, grumpy, and tired. But I'm used to traveling, so I'll manage.
I've got a playlist lined up, it's what I've been listening to non-stop for the past week or so. Please enjoy. :)
So, I was listening to one of my favorite summer mixes today while laying in the sun with my boyfriend (un-single again... it feels good), and I realized that these songs are everything... the sun, the heat, the breeze, just the overall feeling of summer.
Yes, I’m late again. I need to share my April playlist, because it’s a GREAT one! I’m also currently working on a summer playlist, it’s gunna be sweet. I should have it up by the end of this month.
A few things to be noted for April’s playlist, there were four significant albums I pulled music from. “Dig Up the Dead” is the album from Mansions, I love the entire album. “No Devolucion” is the album from the band Thursday, I didn’t like it much, but maybe you will. They fall under the Rock genre. Meg & Dia have a new album, “Cocoon”, its very lovely. And finally, Cisco Adler of they urban hipster band “Shwayze” has an album out now, called “SuperCaliforniaLipstickSexyMagicDopeShit”. It’s very dope, to say the least. Enjoy!
(remember, you can look for these in iTunes, but most of these need to be Google searched, found on YouTube, or in various corners of the world wide web, available for download.)
